Painted glass – also known as back-painted glass – can be utilised for any number of creative projects or designs in your home or commercial property.

As the leading London supplier of painted glass, we’re able to provide your glass in any industry-recognised colour palette. This includes RAL, NCS, Farrow and Ball, and Dulux – if you can visualise it, we can work with you to supply painted glass panels that are cut to size.

What can painted glass be used for?

Our wide range of customisation means that we can work with you to supply painted glass for any project or creative design you may require.

This includes:

As well as painting colours onto your glass panels, we have the capability to add customised designs to suit a wide variety of requirements. This includes company logos, slogans, illustrations, house names, or any other personal visuals to suit your project.

If you can imagine it, our expert team of glass suppliers can provide it. And if you’re still unsure, then you can request a sample of your painted glass panels to make sure they match your expectations before placing a full order.

How is painted glass made?

The process for making painted glass panels is relatively simple. Following a rigorous clean of the glass surface, to remove any dust or dirt that may impact the paint’s adhesive properties, your exact colour is mixed to perfection. This ensures that your planned design can come to life.

The paint is then applied to the back surface of the glass. It is typically sprayed on to ensure an even coating, but other methods such as rolling or brushing can be utilised.

Finally, the painted glass is dried and cured to ensure proper adhesion and lasting quality. The resin paints that we use on your glass are long-lasting, and will sustain for as long as the glass itself.

How can I order painted glass?

There are a few ways you can request a quote or make an order.

  • Calling us on 020 8653 2200 – Our knowledgeable team is readily available to assist you. By speaking directly with one of our experts, you can discuss your requirements, provide any relevant details, and address any questions or concerns you may have.

  • Find out the size of the glass you need. If you don’t know, rough measurements of the wall or area where the painted glass will be installed will do.
  • Tell us what the product is, e.g. subtle antique patina, clear glass, painted glass, glass balustrades etc.
  • Don’t forget to add any finishes; for example, polished or bevelled edges.
  • Add an image of where you would like the glass fitted – this helps us see your vision. We also appreciate any drawings, floor plans, or pictures you can provide. These visual aids allow us to grasp the layout, style, and context of the area.
  • Then simply send your requirements to us, for example “Please quote for clear glass 4mm thickness 1000mm x 1000mm with polished edges.”

When you’re happy with the quote you receive, let us know your delivery address. Or if you’re collecting, just let us know when. For example, today or tomorrow.
